Sonate nr. 1 "Hommage à Ravel" (LOST)

The work "Menuet á Nadia da Norvegia" dedicated to Nadia Boulanger in 1967 is probably from this sonata. The score of this Menuet is preserved. GT mentiones that the sonata was written in Norway and premiered in Paris, where it was very well received. He visited Ravel's brother, the ingenieur Eduard and was able to play the sonata on Ravel's grand piano. Eduard said: "This could have been written by my brother". The concert reffered to is probably the on held 25th of January 1947 at Salle de Consevatoire in Paris. (ref. Reidar Storaas: Mellom triumf og tragedie, page. 234).
