Sketches located at The Royal Library in Copenhagen containing the music for the Two Icelandic Melodies JSV 60 also contains an almoast complete version of an arrangement of a third folk melody from Iceland, Bræinn. This particular melody was later used by Hakon Børresen in his composition Nordiske folketoner fra Island og Færøyene, stating that the melody was written down on Iceland in 1867 by Johan Svendsen.
